Angelica & Sina’s Multicultural Wedding

Some weddings are beautiful. Others are unforgettable.

Angelica & Sina’s celebration at Leonard’s Palazzo in New York was both — a heartfelt blend of heritage and modern American life, where an Indonesian-American bride and an Iranian-American groom honored their roots while celebrating their love story.

Morning – A Touch of Indonesian Artistry

Angelica’s morning preparations were filled with the delicate beauty of handmade Indonesian craftsmanship. Every bridesmaid wore a gown meticulously created by artisans in Indonesia — each stitch a tribute to her family’s heritage.

Her own wedding attire was a masterpiece, combining traditional Indonesian elements with a modern silhouette, rich fabrics, and hand-embroidered beadwork. It was the perfect representation of who she is — proud of her roots, yet entirely her own.

Ceremony – Where Heritage Meets the Heart

Leonard’s Palazzo provided the perfect stage for their vows. The ceremony reflected the joining of two families and two cultures — subtle Indonesian details in Angelica’s attire, heartfelt Iranian customs shared by Sina’s family, and the universal language of love tying it all together.

The day was documented in both stills and film — I photographed each candid, while Kiwi Film brought the celebration to life in cinematic motion.

After the ceremony, we explored the elegant grounds of Leonard’s Palazzo and the nearby streets, letting the venue’s architecture and afternoon light frame their story. Between editorial portraits and unposed moments, I captured the way Sina looked at Angelica as if the world had disappeared, and the quiet way she reached for his hand.

The reception was a joyful mix of cultures, laughter, and music. The menu reflected both their backgrounds, the dance floor stayed full all night, and the handmade bridesmaid dresses flowed beautifully as guests celebrated.
